The mayor of Yekaterinburg resigned
The mayor of Yekaterinburg, Alexander Vysokinsky, resigned, his statement was accepted by the City Duma. It is reported by URA.ru. Vysokinsky will go to work in the Government of the region as the first deputy governor of the Sverdlovsk region. Aleksey Orlov, who was now appointed acting mayor, worked in this post. At a meeting of the City Duma, Vysokinsky was asked about the possible nomination to the Duma elections in 2021 - he replied that he would make a decision later with United Russia.
