Oleg Yudin, a convicted disabled person in need of a wheelchair, was released from a colony in Nizhny Tagil early after the intervention of human rights activists, the human rights organization “Zone of Law” reports. As Alexei Bushmakov, a lawyer for the international human rights group Agora, explained, Yudin is recognized as a disabled person of the first group (indefinitely), he needs a wheelchair, medicinal care and diapers. Yudin has been in prison since 2008, he was convicted of murder.
