Prisoners staged a protest during a visit to Karelian IK-7 by members of the HRC commission
During the visit of members of the Human Rights Council to Colony No. 7 in Segezha, prisoners held a protest, commission member Pavel Chikov told Mediazona. According to Chikov, he was told about the action by a prisoner serving his sentence at the maximum security station in IK-7. According to him, on November 7, eight convicts from the third detachment of a high-security station climbed onto the roof of a barracks with a banner “People, help.” One of the convicts is named Anton Indeikin.
