A resident of the village of Kratovo near Moscow, Igor Zenkov, who was killed after a multi-hour special operation, had been on business trips in Chechnya, but did not take part in hostilities, according to a message on the website of the Investigative Committee. According to her, Igor Zenkov, born in 1967, worked at the Ministry of Emergency Situations as a repairman from 1992 to 2014. He was repairing rescue equipment.
