Investigators in St. Petersburg have completed a criminal investigation against 32-year-old chess player Vladimir Abrosimov, suspected of using violence against a government official (Part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code). This was reported by the press service of the Investigative Committee. According to the investigation, on June 12, 2017, 32-year-old Abrosimov, while on the Champs de Mars, punched a policeman in the back during an anti-corruption rally.
