Human rights activist Ponomarev, who is serving administrative arrest, was transferred to a non-smoking cell
The management of Moscow special detention center No. 1 transferred 77-year-old human rights activist Lev Ponomarev, who is serving administrative arrest, to a non-smoking cell, Ivan Melnikov, executive secretary of the Moscow Public Monitoring Committee, told Interfax. According to him, the non-smokers agreed to change places with the smokers, and thus Ponomarev ended up in a cell where there was no smoking. Besides him, there are seven more people in the cell.
