A resident of Crimea, who disappeared after the “carousel arrests” in Sochi, was accused of treason and sent to a pre-trial detention center
After a series of “carousel arrests,” 55-year-old Crimean woman Victoria Sergeeva, detained in Sochi, was accused of treason and sent to a pre-trial detention center. The First Department writes about this with reference to the woman herself. Sergeeva’s detention became known in October 2025. It was then reported that on August 21, after arriving in Sochi from Turkey, the court ordered administrative arrests for the woman several times.
