The organizer of a series of murders in Russia was detained in Austria
Aslan Gagiev, whom Russian law enforcement agencies believe is the leader of a group that killed more than 40 people in Russia, was detained in Austria. He was detained in Vienna on 17 January. Now the authorities of the two countries are considering the issue of his extradition. According to the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, the Gagiev gang, in particular, killed the mayor of Vladikavkaz, Vitaly Karaev, and the Deputy Prime Minister of North Ossetia, Kazbek Pagiev.
