Photo: Julian Stratenschulte / DPA / Corbis / Vida Press Viennese traffic lights with homosexual pairs painted on them will remain in Vienna forever. As the mayor of Vienna, Maria Vassilok, said, these traffic lights have already acquired a cult status. Road signs, on which, instead of lonely men, silhouettes of same -sex steam light up were installed at 47 intersections as a sign of tolerance. Initially, it was planned to remove them in June, after a series of LGBT events ended in the city.
