On March 15, in Moscow, at the request of the Belarusian authorities, Yuri Baranchik, chief editor of the analytical edition of the Russian Internet publication REGNUM, was detained. Belarusian law enforcement officers accuse the ram who wrote an article about the “end of the Lukashenko era”, in the incite of the national hatred. Earlier, in December 2016, three more journalists who collaborated with REGNUM were arrested in Belarus on the same charges.
