An educator prevails over local prosecutors in Kaliningrad
Lyudmila Osipova, the director of a prestigious high school in Kaliningrad, gets to keep her job , despite local prosecutors’ efforts to boot her out, following her school’s celebration of “subcultures” last October, when students came dressed as punks, goths, soccer hooligans, and more, carrying fake bottles of vodka and a severed pig’s head, among other things. Local officials didn’t like the weird event and accused her of promoting drug culture and even suicide.
