Suspect in plot to assassinate prime minister arrested in Spain. Journalists call him a sniper
Spanish police have arrested a suspect in an assassination plot against the country's prime minister, Pedro Sanchez. The operation took place in the city of Terrassa in Catalonia three weeks ago, but has not been reported until now, the newspaper Publico reports . The suspect, Manuel Murillo Sanchez, 62, worked for a private security company and had a license to possess weapons. Publico calls him a sniper: he was the best shooter in one of the shooting clubs where he trained for many years.
