Putin encouraged science fundamentally: up to 200 billion rubles a year, housing and equipment
After the election of new academicians and members of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, who promised fundamental science, spoke fundamental support - 60 billion rubles a year, as well as housing for young specialists and equipment for laboratories. In the next three years, 600 billion rubles will allocate to target scientific programs. By 2010, allocation for fundamental science, for the needs of the Russian Academy of Sciences, will exceed 60 billion rubles.
