An earthquake in Japan awakened the Shinmoe volcano, RIA Novosti reports. Ash and stones fly into the air to a height of four kilometers. Experts assigned volcanic activity three out of five points on the danger scale. Authorities in Miyazaki Prefecture, where the volcano is located, are urging residents to stay as far away from Shinmoe as possible. People are being evacuated from the danger zone. Shinmoe is located 1,500 kilometers from the earthquake area.
