For the first time in 3 years, the North Korean economy has demonstrated positive dynamics. According to estimates of the Central Bank of South Korea, the real GDP of the DPRK (minus inflation) in 2011 amounted to 0.8%, Finmarket reports. Economic growth followed two years of recession. According to the South Korean Central Bank, for the last time the real product of the North grew in 2008, by 3.1%, but then a two -year recession followed: in 2009, GDP decreased by 0.9%, and in 2010 - by 0.5%.
