Book circles in Russia grew up for the first time in five years
Book circulations in Russia, which have fallen steadily since 2008, last year for the first time showed growth. This, as the Kommersant newspaper writes on Friday, follows from statistics published by the Russian Book Chamber. The agency calculated that the total circulation of books and brochures issued by publishers last year amounted to 541.747 million copies, and 120.5 thousand items. Compared to 2012, these indicators increased by 0.2% and 3.1%, respectively.
