The Faraday Future electric car set a new record at the Race to the Clouds, beating the Tesla Model S by 23 seconds.
The product of the American-Chinese startup Faraday Future, the FF91 electric SUV, set a new record for electric vehicles on the Pikes Peak hill in Colorado. The FF91 completed the 19.99-kilometer, 1,440-meter-high, blind-banked, 157-corner, almost guardrail-free circuit known as the Race to the Clouds in 11 minutes 25 seconds. This is 23 seconds less than last year's result of the Tesla Model S P90D.
