In Russia, the provisions of the Yarovaya Law on the storage of subscriber traffic have come into force
On October 1, the most discussed provisions in the industry and the media, the so-called “Yarovaya Law,” came into force in Russia, according to which telecom operators are required to store subscriber traffic for 30 days, as well as provide this data at the request of law enforcement agencies. Let us recall that the law initially provided for the storage of subscriber traffic for the last six months, and this requirement for operators was supposed to come into force on July 1, 2018.
