“Important stories”: after the start of the war, 20% of companies from “unfriendly” countries left Russia
Only 20% of companies with owners from “unfriendly” countries left Russia after the start of a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. This is discussed in the material “Important Stories”. In particular, auto giants Mercedes-Benz, Renault, Nissan, and Mazda left Russia. Also included were the tobacco holding Imperial Brands, the oil and gas company Shell, the McDonald's fast food restaurant chain, and the Reserved, Сropp, House, Mohito, and Sinsay clothing store chains.
