More than 100 people died in a mass brawl in an Ecuadorian prison. Some were beheaded
In the Litoral prison, located in the west of Ecuador, there were mass clashes between prisoners. At least 116 people were killed, according to the Associated Press. Another 80 people were injured, five of those killed were found decapitated. According to police, the mass brawl was due to disagreements between the Los Lobos and Los Choneros gangs, which are connected to international drug cartels and are fighting to establish their control in the prison.
