Tula anti-fascist fined for reposting messages with Nazi symbols
The World Court of the city of Shchekino (regional center in the Tula region) today decided to fine anti-fascist and Left Front activist Dmitry Karasev 2,000 rubles under Part 1 of Art. 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (propaganda or public demonstration of Nazi or extremist paraphernalia or symbols) and another two thousand under Art.

An activist from Mineralnye Vody received an inspection from the tax office
Mikhail Savostin, an activist from Mineralnye Vody, was visited by three employees of the tax inspectorate and demanded to come the next day with all the documents. Savostin suggests that this is due to the mass events in the city in which he participated. He had previously been repeatedly accused of organizing uncoordinated rallies.

Civil activist Pavel Shekhtman was taken to the police station
Civil activist Pavel Shekhtman was taken to the police. This was reported on his Facebook page according to neighbors. OVD-Info does not yet have other details. Shekhtman's phone is not answered, activists say. In October 2014, a criminal case was initiated against Shekhtman for inciting hatred and enmity for posting on social networks in support of Ukraine. Shekhtman is under house arrest.

A court in Kazan has sentenced activist Airat Shakirov to 10 days of administrative arrest for posting two pro-Ukraine images on the social network VKontakte, each featuring a swastika. According to the online edition “Frontiers. Ru” according to the Deputy Chairman of the All-Tatar Public Center Renat Nurgali, Shakirov was found guilty under part 1 of Article 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (propaganda and public display of Nazi symbols).

Human rights activists urge the European Council to influence the reform of the prison system
(SS) Andress Human rights activists from forty-one organization sent the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Member States of the Council of Europe by the Declaration, which calls for seriously revising the approach to solving problems with human rights arising in European prisons.
