The Khamovnichesky court extended the arrest period for journalist Alexander Sokolov, accused in the "Case of the People's Will Army", for five days - until January 27. This was reported by lawyer Dmitry Dinze, representing the interests of Sokolov. Sokolov, like the rest of the defendants in the case, is accused of organizing the activities of an extremist organization.

Animal rights activists Yegor Simulya and Yury Koretskikh, who were attacked today by the guards of the livestock exhibition at VDNKh, where the activists held an action during which they chained themselves to cages with cows, wrote statements about the use of physical force against them by the guards of the exhibition. Police officers conducted a personal search of Simul and Koretsky in the department, while it is completely unclear whether they were detained or not.

Judge of the Preobrazhensky District Court of Moscow Leonid Garbar put Vladimir Ionov on the federal wanted list, accused of repeated violations of the procedure for holding public events.
