Two activists from the campaign headquarters of Alexei Navalny in Moscow were detained on August 6 for distributing leaflets. As reported in the Telegram of the Protest Moscow movement, one was taken to the Alekseevsky police department by car, and the other walked on foot, because the balloon could not fit into the cabin. They spent only twenty minutes in the department, and then they were released without protocol.

As the activist himself told OVD-Info, he was charged with agitation and the fact that he allegedly urinated on the car. According to Popov, he did not campaign, but he had leaflets with him. The activist noted that in the car the police tried to hit him.

In Kostroma, a man who introduced himself as an employee of the police attacked the volunteer of the election headquarters of Alexei Navalny. This was reported on August 5 by the 7 × 7 portal with reference to the coordinator of the headquarters of Alexander Subbotin. The incident occurred after the police, along with the employees of the city administration, demanded to remove the agitation cube of Navalny from Oktyabrskaya Square, since its installation is an inconsistent event.
