The court in Yoshkar-Ola extended the house arrest of Jehovah's Witnesses
On May 19, the Yoshkar-Ola City Court extended the house arrest of Jehovah's Witnesses follower Ekaterina Pegasheva. This was reported on the website of Jehovah's Witnesses in Russia. At the request of investigator Pegasheva, house arrest was extended for 2 months, until July 26, 2020. She was also prohibited from using communications, the Internet and correspondence. Pegasheva is accused of participation in an extremist organization (Part 2 of Article 282.2 of the Criminal Code).
