A Krasnodar man was sentenced to six years in prison under the article on “fake news”: he wrote about Bucha and Mariupol
On July 19, the Krasnodar Regional Court approved the sentence of local resident Alexander Somryakov: six years in prison because of posts about the murders of civilians in Ukraine. In April, the Pervomaisky District Court of Krasnodar reported that Somryakov was guilty under the article on disseminating “fakes” about the Russian army motivated by political hatred (clause “e”, part 2, article 207.3 of the Criminal Code).
