The court granted the petition for parole of the convicted person in the case of the burned effigy in military uniform
The Volzhsky City Court granted the request for parole of Igor Maltsev, who was convicted in the case of burning an effigy in military uniform in St. Petersburg, reports the human rights project “Prison Lawyer”. In September 2022, Maltsev was sentenced to three years and eight months in prison, having been found guilty of hooliganism motivated by political and ideological hatred, committed by a group of people (Part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code).
