An elderly woman from Pskov has been fined 300,000 roubles (US$3,250) for three donations to the Anti-Corruption Foundation (FBK).
Switch Language English Русский Pskov city court has fined 68-year-old Margarita Polevaya 300,000 roubles (about US$3,300) for making donations to FBK, reports SOTAvision. She was found guilty of financing extremist activity (Part 1, Article 282.3 of the Russian Criminal Code) for three transfers of 300 roubles each. The prosecutor had requested a four-year suspended prison sentence for Polevaya. Because of the criminal case, the elderly woman was added to the “terrorist and extremist” list.

A student accused over a meme channel has twice attempted to take their own life while in detention.
Switch Language English Русский Rafael Mamedov, a 23-year-old student at Murmansk Arctic University, has attempted suicide twice while in detention. He is accused under the article on participation in the activities of a terrorist organisation (Part 2, Article 205.5 of the Criminal Code) because of a Telegram channel with memes called “Free Lapland.” This was reported by “IStories” citing his relative ( link ). Mamedov made his first suicide attempt before he was detained, on 4 May 2025.
