The oldest man on Earth was the 112-year-old Briton
The oldest man in the world was recognized by Briton Robert Wayton, who celebrated the 112th birthday on March 29, according to the Guinness Book of Records. Robert Wayton was born in 1908 in Kingston-on-Halle, Yorkshire, and was one of the seven children. “I am an ordinary guy who was just lucky to live a very long life,” says Wayton. According to him, in childhood, he, “like everyone else”, was ill with lead, measles and whooping cough, survived the epidemic “Spanish” and two world wars.
