Scientists have found that the Kolovrats, extracted from permafrost in northeastern Siberia, turned out to be alive and capable of breeding, despite the fact that they, according to radiocarbon dating, were frozen for 24 thousand years. This is the longest registered case of survival of Kolovplak in a frozen state. Kolovrates are a special type of invertebrate animals, which previously ranked to primary -lane worms. They live mainly in fresh water, but also meet in moist soil, sand, among moss.
