Republicans begin primary elections
The US Republican Party began its primary elections on Tuesday, January 10. Based on the results of the primaries, a presidential candidate will be determined. According to the schedule developed by the party, the first stage of elections will be held on January 3 in Iowa. The last phase of voting is scheduled for June 26 in Utah. The main contenders for the Republican presidential nomination are Mitt Romney, Ron Paul, Mike Huckabee, Rick Perry, Newt Gingrich, Michele Bachmann and Herman Cain.
