"Walking" as art, or What is history
Once, in my first year, we were talking at a seminar with the clever Alexei Mosolkin, who turned out to be unnecessary at the Saratov history department, but turned out to be just right for MSU’s ancient scholars, about what history is. The question is global, who would argue, and it is not resolved in fifteen minutes after class. But during this time he managed to say something obvious, and therefore remembered to this day. That history, in fact, is not a science at all, but a beautiful art.
