According to a sociological survey, 16% of Russians will celebrate Christmas in Western style in 2004
Portal-Credo.ru, citing Interfax, published the results of a sociological survey conducted by Yuri Levada's Analytical Center (sample size - 1,600 people). 16% of respondents (mostly housewives, managers, managers, students) said they would celebrate Christmas on December 25 this year. Lawyers for those convicted of murdering a Tajik girl demand a review of the sentence
According to the Fontanka.Ru website, lawyers for two minors sentenced by the St. Petersburg City Court for the murder of a Tajik gypsy girl to 2.5 years in prison in an educational colony are appealing the verdict to the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation. The cassation appeals have already been filed by the lawyers of the convicts to the city court of St. Petersburg.

Another suspect arrested in connection with the murder of a Tajik girl

Moscow authorities intend to conclude a new land lease agreement with the Hare Krishnas
The city authorities decided not to renew the agreement with the Society for Krishna Consciousness on the gratuitous use of a land plot on Leningradsky Prospekt, where the Hare Krishnas intended to build a Vedic center.
