The case of terrorism “on interethnic grounds”
On May 12, 2005, local activists of the National Bolshevik Party N. Baluev and V. Rusakov were detained in Novosibirsk on charges of plotting terrorist acts in the city during the celebration of Victory Day. According to the Novosibirsk Regional FSB Department, they were preparing on the railway and near the FSB building. Reportedly, during the search, the detainees were seized: the book "Rail War", 20 kg of explosives, several firearms and an improvised explosive device.
