On June 15, 2006, the Dorogomilovsky Court of Moscow sentenced two Muscovites accused of attacking the Chechen singer Liza Umarova and her son in September 2005. The court found the accused guilty of inciting national hatred and enmity. According to the court verdict, Alexey Petrenko was sentenced to one year in prison, Sergei Bagrov - nine months in prison. According to Bagrov's lawyer, on June 16, 2006, he should be released from the pre-trial detention center.
