The State Duma adopted on July 7 in the second and on July 8 in the third reading amendments to the law "On Counteracting Extremist Activities." Basically, the draft law has not changed, so the claims against it, made by a number of human rights activists, remain in force. It should be noted that, despite the numerous comments of journalists and even members of parliament, such items as "humiliation of national dignity", "implementation of mass riots", "propaganda of exclusivity", etc.
