The Hizb ut-Tahrir case was brought to court in Chelyabinsk
The prosecutor's office of the Chelyabinsk region referred to court a criminal case against Rinat Galiullin, Airat Lukmanov, Vadim Khabirov, and Ruslan Abdrashitov, accused under Part 2 of Article 282.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (participation in the activities of a religious organization, in respect of which the court made a decision that has entered into force on the prohibition of activities in connection with the implementation of extremist activities).

An open letter from the staff of the Ryazan Kremlin Museum-Reserve

Nazi inscriptions at the Muslim cemetery in Ivanovo
In the period from 19 to 21 April 2007, an act of vandalism was committed at the Muslim cemetery in Ivanovo (in the town of Balino). Unidentified persons damaged 73 monuments and left obscene and Nazi inscriptions on tombstones. In Rostov-on-Don, a warning was issued for the distribution of “extremist materials”

A criminal case has been opened against the leader of a neo-Nazi organization
In mid-April 2007, it became known that the Moscow Basmanny prosecutor's office opened a criminal case against the leader of the neo-Nazi organization "Format-18" Maxim Martsinkevich (nicknamed "Tesak"). President of the Russian Federation: Rosregistration will be tasked with maintaining a federal list of materials of an extremist nature
On April 26, 2007, Russian President Vladimir Putin, in his address to the Federal Assembly, announced that Rosregistration would be instructed to issue a warning for extremist activity and maintain a federal list of materials of an extremist nature. On April 24, the draft law with the appropriate amendments was sent by the President to the State Duma, and on April 26 it was submitted for consideration to the State Duma Committee on Civil, Criminal, Arbitration and Procedural Legislation.
