On October 27, 2007, in Vladivostok, on Verkhneportovaya Street, on the wall of a residential building, unknown people left inscriptions "of obscene content, insulting the national and religious feelings of the citizens of Azerbaijan." Similar inscriptions appeared on Verkhneportovaya Street on the night of October 30-31, 2007. A criminal case was initiated under Part 2 of Article 214 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (vandalism).
