Jehovah's Witnesses failed to hold a congress in the Arkhangelsk region
The congress of Jehovah's Witnesses in Novodvinsk, Arkhangelsk region, was scheduled for October 26-27, but a few days before that, the administration of the DK "Druzhba" refused to rent the premises to the Witnesses, citing current repairs of the premises. On October 27, activists from one of the "anti-sectarian" organizations hung leaflets around the city about the "danger" of Jehovah's Witnesses and the New Generation Pentecostal Church.
