On November 7, 2007, on a railway platform in Repino (Leningrad region), four young people attacked a 30-year-old citizen of Uzbekistan, Ibragim Parmanov. The man died from stab wounds inflicted by two attackers. It is reported that I. Parmanov three days earlier came to his sister, had a temporary registration and worked in the village as an assistant in one of the cottages.
