On December 11, Kemerovo State University of Culture and Arts (KemGUKI) and the Kemerovo diocese signed a cooperation agreement. The parties intend to create a permanent Coordination Council to work together to educate students in the spirit of national and cultural traditions and generalize the experience of joint work in the field of spiritual and moral education.

On December 12, 2007, it became known that the Kuntsevo Interdistrict Prosecutor's Office of Moscow had terminated the criminal case under Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, initiated in July 2007 against the site Ingusheniya.ru and its owner, lawyer Magomed Evloev. At the same time, it is reported that M. Evloev refused editorial work on the site.

On November 23, 2007, the Supreme Court of Kabardino-Balkaria began considering the case on the liquidation of the public organization "Council of Elders of the Balkar People" (SSBN) as extremist. The court session has already been postponed twice: the first time at the request of the prosecutor's office, the second, on December 11, due to the removal of the judge. On January 10, 2008, the liquidation hearings resumed.

On December 3, by a decision of the head of the Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee (SU IC) under the RF Prosecutor's Office for the Republic of Tatarstan, the investigation into the criminal case against the Nurcular organization was resumed.

The Department of Spiritual Culture was opened at the Academy of Management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The head of the department was the rector of the Orthodox St. Tikhon Humanitarian University, Archpriest Vladimir Vorobyov, and his deputy was the religious scholar O.A. Tuzova. Archpriest Dimitry Smirnov and Deacon Andrey Kuraev, head of the Synodal Department for Relations with the Armed Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies, became honorary members of the department.

On December 6, the Rostov issue of Komsomolskaya Pravda reported that an event dedicated to the Russian language in the city school N46 was held by "sectarians". On November 24, the school hosted an event "Ode to the Russian Language" for fourth grade students. The organizer was the head teacher Valentina Shulgina, who invited representatives of the Exodus charity foundation, of which she herself is a member, to the school.

On December 9, an investigator from the prosecutor's office, three FSB officers, and a district police officer arrived at the office of the Kazan cultural and educational fund "Prisma" and, in the presence of attesting witnesses, suggested that the founders of the fund voluntarily turn in extremist literature. After that, a search was conducted in the foundation's premises.
