On February 12, 2008, in Blagoveshchensk, Amur Region, a criminal case was initiated under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (inciting national hatred) in connection with the distribution of a nationalist newspaper in the city. It became known that the newspaper "Think in Russian" has been distributed in the city since November 2007. Its content was recognized as "extremist" by linguistic expertise.

It became known that in November 2007, several issues of a newspaper called “Trudodni” with the insert “Limonka” appeared in the mailboxes of two apartment buildings in the city.

On January 17, 2008, in the Timiryazevsky district of Moscow, near house 5 on Astrodamskaya Street, unidentified persons attacked Zhenishbek Zhorobekovich Abdumazhitov, a citizen of Kyrgyzstan, born in 1981. The young man received 36 stab wounds. The number of criminals and whether the Kyrgyz were robbed is not reported. We also do not know about the condition of the victim at the present time.

On January 16, 2008, a citizen of Kyrgyzstan Erkinbaev Nurlan Temirkanovich, born in 1985, was killed in Filevsky Park in Moscow. The young man died from 36 stab wounds. The number of attackers and whether the victim was robbed is not reported. On February 12, the Kurgan City Court ordered the administrative suspension of a building owned by a local organization of Jehovah's Witnesses.
