A Voronezh resident was beaten for reasons of racial hatred
In April 2008, a local resident suffered from racially motivated violence in Voronezh. He was attacked by five African students (two of them from Chad, the third from Mali, two more have not been identified), who, a few minutes before, had been subjected to racist insults at one of the shops. Not catching up with the offender, who managed to escape, the students beat the first passerby they came across on the street - taking out on him the insult for the insult received.
