Murder of citizens of Uzbekistan in Moscow
On May 6, 2008, in the north-east of Moscow, near the VDNKh metro station, two citizens of Uzbekistan who worked as janitors in the housing office were killed. 47-year-old Ukhtom Rofeev died from his injuries on the spot, and 41-year-old Matloda Akhlyadova died on the way to the hospital. According to witnesses, citizens of Uzbekistan were attacked on Konstantinov Street by three short-haired young men.
