In Vologda, a man attacked an Uzbek bus driver
In May 2008, in Vologda, a drunken passenger attacked a bus driver from Uzbekistan. The attacker began to beat the driver while the bus was moving. As a result, the bus had an accident, crashing into a fixed-route taxi. No other casualties have been reported. According to Sergey Maltsev, one of the leaders of the non-profit partnership of Vologda carriers, the reason for the attack is nationalist. It is reported that the attacker paid a fine for an administrative offense.
