After watching TV news, a woman “mined” a Georgian cafe
On August 9, 2008, an anti-Georgian incident took place in Ulan-Ude, which, as it turned out later, was provoked by the anti-Georgian propaganda of Russian television. On this day, the Ulan-Ude cafe "Genatsvale" received a call and was informed that the cafe was mined. Cafe employees say that the caller connected the mining with the start of hostilities in South Ossetia. Police officers, the Ministry of Emergency Situations and doctors left for the scene.
