In the Stavropol region, Nazi skinheads attacked athletes from the North Caucasus
In December 2008, in Nevinnomysk (Stavropol Territory), near the Olimpiets sports palace (according to other sources, the Stroitel), during a power sports competition, a group of young people attacked athletes from the North Caucasus. The attackers used traumatic weapons. It is reported that "due to lack of evidence, and also because of the fear of some victims to turn to law enforcement agencies," only one of the attackers, Yevhen Burkhach, was prosecuted.
