A religious medical institution is opening in the Republic of Ingushetia. On May 1, 2009, May Day rallies and marches took place in Russia. Nationalists participated in these events in many cities. The Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the RF Prosecutor's Office for St. Petersburg has completed a preliminary investigation into a criminal case on a series of nationalist attacks in St. Petersburg on December 1, 2007.
