At the end of July 2009, a native of Armenia was beaten in Kovrov (Vladimir region). This became known from the news about the trial of young people who were beaten in 2008 due to national hatred of the father of the victim, Lavrenty Sargsyan. As we already wrote, on June 24, 2009 in Novorossiysk, human rights activists Tamara and Vadim Karastelev were denied the recognition of anti-extremist sanctions against them as illegal. In particular, the court took note of an examination commissioned by the prosecutor's office, authored by a certain philosopher Vladimir Rybnikov.

On July 15, 2009, the Tver Regional Court passed a guilty verdict on Anton Tabachkov (born 1984), one of the members of a neo-Nazi group accused of a series of racist crimes. He was the last of the detained members of the group (he was hiding from the investigation and was arrested only in January 2009). Because of this, his case was separated into a separate proceeding.
