On July 20, 2009, the Kirovsky District Court of Kazan began preliminary hearings in the case of the former press secretary of the President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev Irek Murtazin. On July 9, it became known that 25 graves were desecrated at the Veteran cemetery in the city of Priozersk, Leningrad Region. A criminal case has been initiated under Art. 214 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("vandalism"). According to the regional prosecutor's office, the crime was committed by a 32-year-old unemployed resident of the city in a state of intoxication. This threats were caused by Baranov's activity against ultra-rightwing and neo-nazi concerts organized in Rostov-na-Donu.

On July 21, at a special meeting, Russian President D. Medvedev announced that he had decided to support the idea of ​​​​teaching subjects on the fundamentals of religions in Russian schools. The meeting was attended by government officials and representatives of various Russian religious organizations. The President proposed conducting an experiment in 18 regions of the country to teach the basics of religious culture, the history of religion and the basics of secular ethics in schools.

On July 21, it became known that in March 2009 the Eleventh Arbitration Court of Appeal of Samara canceled the anti-extremist warning given to the editors of the newspaper Our City Today for publishing the article "Fleeing from Reality." Recall that this article caused concern among representatives of the Protestant churches in the region.

On July 16, 2009, the Investigative Committee under the Prosecutor's Office of the Nizhny Novgorod Region indicted the Arzamas National Bolshevik Dmitry Isusov. He is charged under Part 2 of Art. 282.2 (participation in the activities of an extremist organization).
