Mass brawl between paratroopers and natives of Azerbaijan in the Moscow region
On August 2, 2009, at about 21:00, a mass brawl between paratroopers and natives of Azerbaijan, market traders, took place on the city square in Elektrostal (Moscow region). It is known that about 30 paratroopers aged 23 to 45 participated in the clash. The paratroopers beat the merchants with glass beer bottles. Some of the natives of Azerbaijan used traumatic pistols. By the time the police arrived, most of the participants in the fight had fled.

An indictment in the case of an attack on an Azerbaijani citizen was approved
On August 3, 2009, the Investigative Committee for St. Petersburg completed the investigation of a criminal case against a group of Nazi skinheads who attacked an Azerbaijani citizen in June 2008.
